GEOG428G Applied Groundwater Hydrology
CONTENT: This course examines groundwater contamination and the
procedures used in groundwater investigations. Topics covered include
regulations, well monitoring, groundwater flow, tracer studies, aquifer
pumping tests, contaminant plumes, groundwater modeling, remediation, and
cleanup. Prerequisite: GEOG310 or GEOL310, and GEOL 440, and
graduate student standing. 4 hours.
