The graduate courses in Geology are designed to support the Graduate degree in Geoscience and other disciplines and to prepare students to become candidates for the Ph.D. degree, for careers in Community College teaching, and for careers in government, industry, business, and commerce. A number of graduate assistantships are available to outstanding students, as are paid positions in the Department's research centers.
