A Geography and Environmental Studies degree from WKU will provide you with an interdisciplinary approach to the field and prepare you for a variety of exciting careers. As a result, you will be able to understand and address many of today's challenges, including climate change, natural resource management, sustainability, economic development, urban planning, tourism, transportation, and other areas.

WHAT IS GEOGRAPHY?

Geography occupies a unique position as a bridge between the social and the natural sciences, and STEM fields (GIScience). Consequently, Geography and Environmental Studies majors have diverse job opportunities upon graduation.
