Odgen Oratorical began in 1877, and is sponsored by the Ogden Foundation. This is for Juniors and Seniors.

Robinson Oratorical is a Declamation competition in memory of the late John E. Robinson. The Declamation was first given in 1878 by Ogden College, and is for Freshmen and Sophomores.

A.A.U.W. Oratorical is a speech competition for women, due to the gender segregation of the time. It was created by the Bowling Green branch of the American Association University of Women in 1950.

S.N.E.A. - For Freshmen and Sophomore women, this was begun in 1958 under the sponsorship of the Lee Francis Jones Chapter of the Student National Education Association.
