October is the Folklore Club's favorite month. In 2006 the club visited Octagon Hall near Franklin, Kentucky to take a historic tour--with a twist. This tour was given at night and promoted jumps, screams, and unearthly sightings. After the historic tour, club members hustled through a more traditional "spook house" in the property's adjacent tobacco barn. Everyone had a great time and spent hours afterward recounting stories of the best frights and sights.
