I got a Bachelor's of General Studies here at Western Kentucky University. I emphasized in Social and Behavioral Sciences. It was pretty much wide open to whatever you wanted to take, so I took a lot of Folk Studies and Anthropology classes.
Once I graduated school, I mainly worked in customer service or as an office assistant. When I lost my last job, I decided that it was a good opportunity to come back to school.
When I was originally an undergrad, I wanted to be an archaeologist. When I decided to come back to school, I wanted something in that same area, but I knew archaeology wouldn't be the right fit for me. I was looking through the catalog, when I read about the Historic Preservation Track, I said, "That's it! I know it! I'm going for it!"
I like learning! Also, I'm married and we have a 12-year old daughter.
What's a favorite word or phrase that sounds like a swear word?
I have a tendency, if I'm really upset, to say, "Son of a biscuit-eating bulldog!"
