Every year the U. S. Department of Education selects a percentage of financial aid applicants for a review of their financial aid information. This review is known as verification. If your application is selected for verification, you will need to submit certain information depending on your verification group.
Our Verification page provides a list of forms required for each verification group. Your verification group is listed in the Missing Information Letter (MIL) you received from WKU. MIL's are emailed to the student's WKU Topper Mail or to the student email account listed on the FAFSA if a Topper Mail has not yet been assigned.
All forms are available by signing into your My KHEAA account at www.kheaaverify.com. KHEAA Verify has been contracted to complete all verification services on behalf of WKU. All verification documentation should be submitted directly to KHEAA Verify. Students/parents can complete and sign the forms electronically and/or submit required documentation through KHEAA's document upload feature.
