How to apply for your VA Educational Benefits All prospective students must contact the VA Coordinator in the Office of Student Financial Assistance to obtain the appropriate forms needed to submit a claim for VA Educational Benefits. Transfer students who previously used VA benefits at another university, must submit a "Change of Program or Place of Training" form. All forms can be obtained from the VA Coordinator or you can download the forms from http://www.wku.edu/Info/FinAid/vaforms.htm. Additional information and forms can be obtained from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition to the required VA forms, there are internal forms which also must be completed and turned into the VA Coordinator. Upon receipt of all required documentation, the VA Coordinator will forward an Enrollment Certification to the VA regional Office.
