FILING A FREE APPLICATION FOR STUDENT AID (FAFSA)
OR RENEWAL FAFSA

In order to receive Federal financial aid (grants, loans, federal work study) a student must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year.  The easiest, fastest way to file a FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA is by using FAFSA on the Web, www.fafsa.ed.gov.

By listing Western Kentucky University (Title IV Code: 002002) on your FAFSA, we will receive your information electronically for award processing.

Complete your application as soon after January 1 as possible. Because some aid programs are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, an early application receives priority consideration for limited funding sources.
