WKU Colonnade

"Look what my students can do!"

• June 11-13, 2012 - Modified Oral Proficiency Interview (MOPI) Assessment Workshop

• July 16-19, 2012 - The Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) Assessment Workshop

Featuring experienced and certified ACTFL OPI Trainers Karl Otto and Eric Kartchner, the Department of Modern Languages in cooperation with WKU’s Dual Credit program are offering two top-notch professional development opportunities for World Languages teachers K-16.

"Proficiency" is what’s current in language instruction today. Is your program proficiency-oriented? Get the skills to help make sure it is. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get hands-on experience learning to accurately rate the proficiency of student language production in your classes, and to create prompts that are level-appropriate. More and more universities want incoming students to be able to demonstrate proficiency. Are your students ready?
