Bio
Debbie’s background in industrial engineering, operations management, sales and marketing has given her a strong skill set to use in connecting our academic world here in WKU engineering of faculty and students with our industrial partners in the world of practicing engineers. She grew up in the Southeast and has lived and worked in AL, GA, MS, NC and now KY. She has been living in Bowling Green for over two years with her husband, John who is employed with Fruit of the Loom, and their two children, Jennifer age 20 and Jonathon age 18 along with their wire fox terrier, Chester. She enjoys assisting WKU Engineering students, faculty, and industrial partners in connecting as we grow our industrial partnerships and experience exciting opportunities in engineering through employment, projects, and research and development possibilities. Debbie pursued her Industrial Engineering education at Mississippi State University completing her BSIE degree at North Carolina State University in December 1985. She pursued her MBA at the University of North Carolina- Charlotte completing her MBA at Auburn University- Montgomery in December of 1989.
Personal Interests
Debbie enjoys fitness classes- cycling, yoga, and weights- in addition to team tennis during her time away from the office.
