Information for teachers interested in participating in this project

If you are a Spanish teacher and you would like to use the Spanish Web Class in your classes, you can start by opening an account at the WHS as a student. Go to the Web Homework system (https://www.mathclass.org/wqs/default.asp), and register there. After registering, sign up for the Spanish Practice class that we have set up for interested teachers. Do the following:

  1. Open an account in WHS (https://www.mathclass.org/wqs/default.asp)
  2. Return to the main window
  3. Click on "Other Schools"
  4. In the pull down menu, select the University of Kentucky. Check "Include Course List Names", then click on "Submit"
  5. In the "Select Class" pull down menu, look for "Practice Class for H: Pertusa", and select it.
    Then click on Request Registration.
  6. After this last step, please send an e-mail to Inmaculada Pertusa (pertusa@uky.edu) letting me know that you sent your request for registration. As soon as I get your e-mail, I will process your registration in my course so you can start practicing with the Spanish Web Class.

Once you are familiar with how the WHS works, and decide you want to use it in your class, please contact Inmaculada Pertusa (pertusa@uky.edu) or Melissa Stewart (melissa.stewart@wky.edu) and we will be glad to discuss with you the necessary steps to set up an instructor account and a class with the WHS.
