The application deadline for the 2010 KIIS Spring Program in Spain is Nov 2nd, 2009.
Program Fee (tentaive):
Option 1 (without airfare) $8,150
Option 2 (with airfare) $9,150
PLUS $150 Application fee
APPLY EARLY & SAVE $100: Apply by October 1st and save $100
*Please note: There are a limited number of seats available on the group flight (Option 2). If you select Option 2 and there are no more group-flight seats available, KIIS will help you find a good flight alternative.
All elements of the application must be postmarked by the deadline to be considered in the initial selection group. Applications complete after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis.
To apply for the Spain semester study abroad program you need a username and password. If you do not already have an account for MyKIIS, creating one is easy and free. To do this, go to the official KIIS site at http://www.kiis.org. There you will find information for every KIIS Study Abroad program including the Semester Program in Spain. Look for the link Apply Now!. You will be taken to a registration page where you will be able to registered to access the necessary application materials.
After submitting your MyKIIS application online, you will still need to send the following items:
1 . Two letters of Recommendation sent directly from the faculty members. (Recommendation form)
2 . An official transcript fromfrom your current college or university) sent directly from the Registrar to the KIIS office (address below). Student issued transcripts are NOT acceptable.

3 . The $150 application fee (can be paid online by credit card).
4 . A copy of your passport (valid through the end of the year of your program) or a copy of an application for a new passport. Enter "applied" in the space for a passport number.
5 . One passport size photo (approx. 2" x 2"). (It can be sent electronically to kiis@wku.edu)
As part of the application online, you will have to submitt an approximately 300 word essay in Spanish indicating why you would like to study abroad in Spain during the Spring semester. You should have this essay ready (Word doc) before you start filling in the application on line.
All application materials will be reviewed based on academic performance and the applicant's appropriateness for study abroad. An e-mail will be sent following the acceptance process within approximately 1 week of the deadlines to notify applicants of their status.
