As Instructional Technologist, Steven works with Distance Learning staff to help faculty develop skills needed to use instructional technology. Steven supports technology requests from the Distance Learning and WKU staff by implementing and promoting new technology that will be directly used by WKU faculty and students in their online activities. Through the blending of third party solutions with custom databases and web pages Steven strives to provide a valuable web experience for all that use these resources. Prior to joining WKU, Steven supported technology within the Bowling Green Independent School District from 1997 to 2014. Over this time Steven maintained servers, networks, databases, websites, classroom technology, student and teacher workstations, and software deployments. Steven was a critical part in planning, implementing, training and supporting of all new technology over the years to provide both faculty and students with an advanced technology based learning environment.
