The services performed are determined by the student's treatment plan in consultation with the clinical instructor. The patient's needs and the student's instructional needs are considered in this determination. Services performed in our clinic MAY include the following:

Vital signs Intra-Extra Oral Examinations Individualized Home Care Instructions Dental Charting Periodontal Charting Prophylaxis (Scaling and Polishing) Periodontal Maintenance Procedures Appliance Cleaning Fluoride Treatment

Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Sedation Local Anesthesia Administration Desensitizing Treatment Tooth Vitality Testing Fabrication of study models Radiographs (bitewings, periapicals, occlusal and panoramic) Intraoral Photos Sealants Dietary Counseling Tobacco Cessation Referral (as necessary)
