Welcome to the Division of Extended Learning and Outreach (DELO) at Western Kentucky University. Our mission is to extend the education and information resources of WKU to the citizens of Kentucky and beyond. We are a dynamic group of friendly and energetic people who are focused on customer service and quality programming in a variety of formats.

If you are searching for online courses and programs check out our Distance Learning pages. We offer credit independent learning courses through anytime correspondence study. If you are interested in developing a specific program for your organization or business we can partner with you through a special cohort degree contract program.

Online courses as well as face-to-face courses are available all throughout the summer in short sessions lasting 3 to 8 weeks long. We also offer a 3-week Winter Term in January where students can complete an entire course between the fall and spring semesters.

We can develop custom made training for your business or organization through our Center for Training & Development. We work with many high schools on dual credit programs. Our department of Continuing Education can help you not only to find a CE program of interest to you, but can also help you develop specific program offerings.

If you are looking for a physical location to hold your meetings or events of all types, we invite you to look at the Knicely Conference Center. You will find our state of the art facility to be one of the finest anywhere.

We encourage students of all ages to participate in our newest program, Study Away, which develops off-campus domestic learning opportunities in credit or non-credit programs.
