CTD Partnerships

Area Chambers of Commerce

The Center for Training and Development has tremendous responsibility to the community, business and industry, and the economic well–being of the surrounding counties. Because of that, the center has developed strategic business partnerships with area Chambers of Commerce and other organizations. Through these initiatives, the center director has served as a workforce development committee chair, community relations chair for a Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) chapter, and volunteered to be involved in several of chamber’s strategic plans. Among these initiatives are the Work Ethic Seal Program and the Warren County Industrial Training Consortium.

Work Ethic Seal Program
Recognizing needs that business and industry indicated were missing in potential employees entering the workforce, CTD collaborated with business, education and local agencies to assist in establishing a strong work ethic program in area high school students.
Warren County Industrial Consortium
Also, to support the infrastructure for economic development, the center serves as a partner with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce in the area of training. The center is the administrator of the Warren County Industrial Consortium.
