Each online course comes equipped with a patient and caring instructor, lively discussions with your fellow students, and plenty of practical information that you can put to immediate use. All courses run for six weeks, representing 20 or more hours of instruction. Each course consists of 2 lessons per week for 6 weeks (12 lessons total). Each lesson will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and will be available online for 10 calendar days. Lesson completion will be monitored through quizzes. A final will mark completion of the course.
You can ask questions and give or receive advice at any time during the course. Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. Quizzes serve as a review of the information learned and can be taken multiple times.
You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time of the day or night.
Online courses require more security so that only registered students can go to the online classroom. You will use your e-mail address and password to log-in to the classroom. As an extra security measure, there is a security question asked in some situations.
When your course starts, click the Classroom link from the Consortium website. To begin your studies, simply log in with your e-mail and the password selected during enrollment.
