Problem Solving Tools

4 Hours Total (One 4-Hour Session)

Introduction

This training session focuses on an overview of the problem-solving process with emphasis on the tools that are used. The ability to recognize the problem-solving model and tool application is a critical skill for all employees.

Objectives

The participant will learn: (1) the seven problem-solving steps and how to identify problems, (2) the challenges and advantages of problem identification, (3) what problem-solving tools are and when they are best used, (4) how to apply solutions to perceived problems and, (5) how to integrate a problem-solving approach to the decisions faced by all workers in a modern technological environment.
