Session Format:
One 3–Hour Session
Introduction
This seminar is an introduction to computers that explores what computers do and how they do it. It is intended as an introductory session and should be followed by training in Windows and specific word processing, spreadsheet, or database packages.
Objectives
The participant will: (1) understand the basics of computers, (2) learn beginning vocabulary of computer terminology and disk operating systems, (3) be exposed to productivity software tools, (4) learn the major parts of a computer, hardware, and software, and (5) become well acquainted with the keyboard.
