Trying to get more out of the people you supervise, trying to get them to go that extra mile, isn't easy. Most employees will tell you that what affects their productivity more than anything else is their immediate supervisor. A good supervisor inspires people to give their all; a bad one inspires them to leave. Six hours total, two 3-hour sessions.
The participant will recognize: (1) some of their own mis-guided behavior and the negative effects it can cause and (2), the positive effects of good management on people's motivation and productivity.
This class is essential for people new to supervisory/management positions, but also valuable as a refresher course for experienced supervisors.
