Follow-up training on any subject is mandatory in order that employees retain what they have learned. This is particularly true for training as important to product quality as SPC. Practice in SPC, such as daily charting, is not enough because it only reviews the HOW of SPC. In order for employees to accept WHY SPC is important to their job and the company, a review of the fundamentals of statistics and the concepts of SPC should be presented on a regular basis. Three hours total.
The participant will: (1) review the logic behind SPC, (2) review the techniques for constructing and interpreting control charts, and (3) be introduced to process control.
This seminar is appropriate for any employee responsible for production and quality improvement who has had prior SPC training and needs a basic review.
