Managing a Younger, Less Experienced Workforce

Introduction

The characteristics and needs of a predominantly younger, less experienced workforce are markedly different from a workforce that is older and more seasoned. This session will provide an overview of appropriate supervisory strategies for younger, less-experienced workers.  4 hours total.

Objectives

The participant will learn: (1) the specific characteristics and needs of younger, less experienced employees, (2) a step by step approach to orienting, training and supervising a younger, less experienced workforce, (3) how to motivate and evaluate younger, less-experienced workers, and (4) how to facilitate organizational change with younger, less-experienced workers.

Who Should Attend

This training session is appropriate for companies and organizations where a relatively large percentage of the employees are comparatively younger and less experienced.
