
In order for team members to be able to make decisions and solve problems, it is necessary for them to gather and display relevant data in an organized format. This class will present an overview of how Fact Based Decision-Making can be employed as a first step toward solving problems within the organization. Three hours total.
The participant will learn: (1) the importance of gathering and displaying data in an organized format, and (2) how to use pictographs, check sheets, Pareto diagrams, frequency tables, histograms, and scatter diagrams.
This seminar is intended for employees who will be serving on teams and do not have a background in statistical data collection techniques.
