Non-Teacher Certified Students
Individuals admitted to the School Counseling program who do not hold a current valid teaching certificate are required to submit a completed copy of this TB/Physical Exam Form to qualify for practicum and internship placement.
Graduates who do not have a teaching certificate must complete two years of school counseling experience to qualify for Standard Guidance Certification. Graduates with a teaching certificate require one year of experience to qualify for Standard Guidance Certification. In both cases students need to complete additional courses to qualify for Standard Guidance. See http://www.wku.edu/csa/sc/school_standard_cert.php
