Continuing Education Units
What is a CEU?
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measure given and directly related to contact hours for a non-credit course.
What is the purpose of a CEU?
The Office of Continuing Education awards CEU’s upon completion of a course or training. The Office maintains a permanent record of participation in approved programs and can provide official transcripts.
WKU Continuing Education CEU Guidelines Packet
If a University department, employee, or external agency requests that the Office of Continuing Education provide CEU’s for an offering not planned and presented by the Office of Continuing Education, a Continuing Education Guideline Packet must be completed and signed by the person responsible for planning and implementing the continuing education offering. The Continuing Education office must evaluate the program before CEU’s will be determined.
