Bio

A native of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Rachel earned her bachelor's degree in jurnalism from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in 2004.  After working as a newspaper reporter in New York, Ohio, and Kentucky, she pursued a Master's degree in Communication from Western Kentucky University and graduated in 2009.  She began her career at WKU in the Office of Admissions as a counselor in the southeastern Kentucky territory, and has also worked at WKU-Glasgow as the coordinator of communication and student recruitment.  Outside the classroom, she is a longtime skater, team captain, and board member for Vette City Roller Derby.  She lives in Bowling Green with two cats, Ripley and Herriot.
