Associate of Arts in Business Degree

Franklin–Simpson Associate of Arts in Business with a concentration in Manufacturing Management or Business Management

The Associate of Arts in Business cohort program is offered through Western Kentucky University’s South Campus and will help equip students with the comprehensive knowledge and skills for today's rapidly changing business and manufacturing environments. Students in groups (cohorts) of 20-25 will move through the program together taking the same classes and building peer relationships that will support each other. Cohort program students will receive guaranteed seating and registration services in the courses offered each semester. Most classes will meet one evening weekly and the typical semester will consist of two bi terms and one full term course.

Advancing Your Career

This program provides students with the skills and background necessary for career advancement. The sequenced degree matrix includes coursework in marketing, accounting, communications, finance, human resources, safety, lean manufacturing and more. According to current reports, the fields of Human Resources, Training, and Labor Management are expected to grow by over 26% by 2016, and Industrial Production Management is expected to expand by over 15%.* After completing this Associate of Arts in Business degree, you will be better prepared to begin a very enjoyable and profitable career.
