Mr. Gongbo (Tony) Liang is returning to the Chinese Flagship Program as a private tutor after a short time away for graduate coursework and an internship. Liang received his M.A. in Folk Studies at WKU in 2012, during which time he was a tutor for the Chinese Flagship. His research interests are Chinese vernacular architecture, Chinese folk arts and Chinese-American folklore. He completed an internship at Houston Arts Alliance in Houston, TX in the 2012 Fall Semester where his primary job was to establish a database for local Chinese music, music groups, and music performers.
Currently Liang is pursuing a second master’s degree, an M.S. in Computer Science.
