CHHS Research Initiatives and Projects

CHHS encourages collaborative research projects, whether it is across departments within CHHS, across colleges within WKU, or across multiple universities. Considering this, we look for opportunities to help facilitate the formation of "research teams" that include faculty interested in researching multiple different subtopics that fall under one overarching area of research interest. Currently, there is a group pursuing different facets of research on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). There are representatives from five departments within CHHS, plus representatives from Ogden College of Science and Engineering, the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, and also from Potter College of Arts and Letters. We are looking to launch soon another initiative to explore different areas of research related to a person's End of Life.
