Welcome to the School of Nursing at Western Kentucky University. Our mission is to provide undergraduate and graduate education, and lifelong learning opportunities to meet the changing health care needs of a global society.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is the entry level for professional nursing practice. The Post-RN option is for registered nurses wanting to obtain their BSN Degree. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is the foundation for advanced nursing practice and builds upon the baccalaureate degree.

All programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

We maintain full approval by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as well as membership in the National League for Nursing (NLN).
