Starting in the Fall 2013, the School of Nursing (SON) will no longer be located on campus in the Academic Complex. A new building, The Medical Center-WKU Health Sciences Complex going up on the Medical Center grounds, will be used for the nursing classes. With the bigger classes that the SON are now accepting, they desperately needed room for their students. Although the building will be shared with the Medical Center, WKU will occupy approximately 80 percent of it. The new Doctorate of Physical Therapy program will also be housed in the new Health Sciences Complex.
