Nonprofit Community Award Nominations

Welcome to our WKU American Humanics AHMI Group Photo 2009(Nonprofit Administration) website. We hope this site helps students, faculty, and community members learn more about  this exciting program.

On behalf of WKU I would like to thank you for your interest in American Humanics, an exciting program at our university. Our efforts to prepare students for meaningful careers in the nonprofit sector will benefit the students and their communities.

From the moment the American Humanics (AH) program was brought to campus, people have asked, "What is American Humanics?" The mission statement provides a nice overview, "American Humanics is a national alliance of colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations dedicated to educating, preparing and certifying professionals to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations." As part of this national alliance of over 70 colleges and universities, WKU now offers additional resources and training to prepare its students for nonprofit careers.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have.
