School of Nursing Graduate Commissioned as 2nd Lt


On Thursday July 31st, Race Stork RN was commissioned as a 2nd Lt into the U.S. Army by Col. Mike Kenny. Mr. Stork completed WKU’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in May 2008. He will be working as a registered nurse at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.  This hospital is the largest military hospital in the Asian and Pacific Rim region, and the only United Nations Peace Operations Institute in the United States. Congratulations, Race!

Bowling Green, Kentucky– WKU School of Nursing is pleased to announce that Crista L. Briggs has earned the designation Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) after successfully completing a rigorous certification examination developed and administered by the National League for Nursing.
