The Fall Comprehensive Examination is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2009.

On-site Comprehensive Examination
Students planning to take the exam on-site at WKU will need to register with the office associate, Candice Tope, by Monday October 12, 2009. She can be reached at 270-745-2015 or Candice.Tope@wku.edu. The application to complete the comprehensive exam can be obtained by clicking here or from the MPH Blackboard Organization site.

Off-site Comprehensive Examination
Students who request to take the exam off-site must register with the office associate by Monday September 21, 2009. Off-site comprehensive exams will be available in special situations where the student resides more than 90 miles from Bowling Green and cannot arrange to return to Bowling Green for the on-site examination. Monday, September 21, has been established as the deadline to register for the off-site exam in order to allow sufficient time for DELO and the student to identify a sanctioned site for the exam. When a student takes the exam off-site, it is the student’s responsibility to pay any fees associated with taking the exam at the off-site test location. Please contact a member of the Culminating Experience Committee (Dr. Christine Nagy (chris.nagy@wku.edu), Dr. Thomas Nicholson (thomas.nicholson@wku.edu), or Dr. Vijay Golla (Vijay.Golla@wku.edu) to let them know that you want to take the exam off-site.

On-site Exam Format

Faculty are asked to submit the graded exams to the Culminating Experience Committee by Wednesday November 4. In order for students to receive the results of their exam, each student will first need to complete the Exit Survey that will be available on line. This is an anonymous survey; your name will not be linked to your answers and will not affect your rights as a student in the Master of Public Health Program or at Western Kentucky University. You will receive an email indicating how to complete the online survey.
