| Sherry Lovan, MSN Assistant Professor Office AC 108E Phone: 270-745-8769 Mrs. Lovan graduated from WKU in 1984 with an Associate of Science and in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2004, she graduated from the MSN program (nurse educator) at WKU. Her nursing career experiences include the areas of orthopedics, women's health, nursery/NICU, emergency room, psychiatric nursing, and staff development. In 2005, she was accepted into the University of Louisville/WKU cooperative doctoral program. Her research interests include the perception of nursing and nurse retention. Mrs. Lovan currently teaches Nursing 426, Community Health Nursing. She is active in Kappa Theta, the local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau (Honor Society of Nursing),and has served as secretary since 2005.
