MCAT Prep

The South Central AHEC offers a Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) Prep class each spring to help students prepare to take the MCAT.  This class is taught by WKU professors in biology, chemistry, and physics.  The class includes 2 full length practice exams, practice essays, and classes devoted to each of the sections included on the MCAT.

The MCAT Prep class begins after J-term and includes both evening and Saturday sessions.  The class usually ends around the first or second week of April.  Most students who participate in this class improve their MCAT scores on average of 5 points.

For specific dates and a schedule of the next class, please contact Lucy Juett, Director, South Central AHEC at 745-3325 or preferably by e-mail at lucy.juett@wku.edu.

Applications will be available by November 1st for the spring class.
