Why did you choose WKU and your Major?
I loved the campus at WKU more than any of the other schools I looked at. I have been taking Spanish for 6 years and it is definitely my passion, but my lifelong dream is to help people, which is why I chose nursing as my other major.

What is your favorite memory of your college experience?
Football Season, tailgating, and watching us try to win.

What is the one piece of advice you would give an incoming freshman?
It’s okay if you get homesick, everyone does from time to time.

What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?
An umbrella, for those random monsoons in between classes.

What is the one place that people should be sure to visit on the WKU campus?
The overlook in front of Van Meter Hall, the view is spectacular.

What are some tips that you could give to new freshman about getting involved?
Don’t be afraid to do something different than you did in high school; you can become whoever you want to be because college is a fresh start.

What do you think is the secret to a good freshman GPA?
Make a to-do list every single day of what assignments need to be worked on, if you don’t get it all accomplished one day, pick back up the next day and finish it.

What is the most surprising thing about you?
I absolutely hate when people touch my neck, their own neck, or anyone else’s neck either.

What was your greatest fear when starting college?
No doubt about it, gaining the freshman 15.

What other campus organizations do you belong to?
Triathlon Club, Honors College, Well U Program
