The Dietetics major at WKU is comprised of
67 hours in the major and
61 hours of general education. The following chart shows course

PROGRAM FOCUS: The central purpose of this
program is to equip
graduates
to successfully compete for American Dietetic Association supervised
practice
experiences leading to the "Registered Dietitian" designation.
Graduates
will be able to effectively manage others who provide dietetic related
services. They will emerge from this program with information and
management
skills which enable them to be creative problem solvers in the delivery
of dietetic services.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: GPA of
2.7 or better on at
least
24 credit hours, including CFS 111, 151 & CHEM 105/106.
