Transfer Student Information
Welcome to Western Kentucky University! We are thrilled that you have decided to be part of the WKU family! The WKU College of Health and Human Services wants to help you have a successful transition into your classes at WKU! We hope that the experiences you have a Western will leave you with life long memories. Below you will find some information that will hopefully help you with your transition into Western Kentucky University and the College of Health and Human Services. Campus tours are arranged through the WKU Office of Admissions or call 270-745-2551.
Send your transcript
Student transferring from another accredited college should request that an official transcript from each college attended be mailed to the WKU Admissions Office, 1906 College Heights Blvd. #11020, Bowling Green, KY 42101-1020 or call 270.745.2751 if you have questions. Register for Classes
Before you can register for classes you must meet with an academic advisor. What does an academic advisor do? Click here to find out. To schedule an appointment with your advisor you just need to call your department. You can find a listing of department numbers at WKU Directory.

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Questions concerning student financial aid, student employment and scholarships can be answered by the Office of Student Financial Assistance 270.745.2755, check out their website at Student Financial Assistance or E-mail your questions to fa.questions@wku.edu or scholarships@wku.edu.
Arrange for Housing
All freshman and sophomores at WKU are required to live in a residence hall. If you need a housing application or have questions please call 270.745.4359, visit the Housing and Residence Life website or E-mail housing@wku.edu.
Purchase a meal plan
All freshmen at WKU are required to buy a meal plan. Dining Services has an assortment of meal plans available for students. Plans can be purchased at the beginning of the semester. Contact Dining Services at 270.745.2416 or visit WKUdining.com.
Get Involved
Make your Western experience rich and rewarding. Visit the Student Activities and Organizations website for information on clubs and organizations on campus or check out all the Health and Human Services Students Organization at CHHS Student Organizations.
Parking
Be sure to purchase a parking pass before your arrive to campus or your first day at WKU. For more information about parking please visit their website at Parking and Transportation.
Student ID
Get your student ID either before school starts or the first week of classes. To get your ID made you just need to visit the first floor of the Downing University Center. For more information you can visit their website at Student ID Center.
