Western Kentucky University: The First 100 Years pictorial history available. TBA
Mar. 09-14 - Ragtime. The Department of Music and the Department of Theatre and Dance collaborate on the production of the widely acclaimed musical based on the prize-winning book of the same title. The show gives a glimpse of American life in the decade that WKU was founded.

April 2006

Apr. 01 - (7:30 pm) - Jazz Band concert at Garrett Conference Center. The Jazz Band will premiere a Doc Livingston piece commissioned for the Centennial.

June 8 - Elizabethtown-Hardin County Chamber of Commerce Meeting - noon (ET) at Pritchard Community Center - featured speaker - Dr. Gary Ransdell.

September 2006

Sept. 08 - Bowling Green Community College "Birthday Bash"
Sept. 26 - Performance by the WKU Steelband will take place at the Hardin County PAC at 10:00 am. Students in humanities and music classes in high schools from the Elizabethtown area will be invited to attend.
Sept. 29 - BG Western Symphony Orchestra performs in Elizabethtown at the Performing Arts Center at the John Hardin High School.
Sept. 30 - Parents Weekend/Focus on Western

October 1 - (3:00 p.m.) - Wall of Fame Concert, premiering David Livingston's WKU
Medley for band/choir Van Meter Auditorium

October 15 - Autumn Collage, WKU Faculty Chamber Music Recital, premiering 2 faculty quintet pieces (brass- Bennie Beach, and woodwind-Chuck Smith).
