Our Mission
The purpose of the China Environmental Health Project is to develop US-Chinese partnerships to enhance the quality of public health in China by building sustainable capacity through the engagement of Chinese scientists, students, local governments, and citizens in hands-on training, as well as working with Chinese environmental NGOs to gain experience in the community outreach necessary to implement this training.
Our technical focus is two-fold. Through our Technical Program for Water, we are working to find solutions to water access and quality issues that exist in the karst regions of southwest China. Our Technical Program for Air addresses air quality issues in China that arise from coal-related emissions.
