School Psychology Awareness week

October 12-16, 2012

As part of this week's activities, school psychology graduate students are holding a bake sale today in the 2nd and 3rd floor lobby/atriums of GRH from 9am to 2pm. There are a variety of tasty options including healthy and decadently sweet.  The proceeds from the bake sale go to benefit the Jesse Keeling Scholarship Fund which supports school psychology students. If you are not interested in purchasing food, please consider a tax deductible donation to the Jesse Keeling Scholarship Fund (make checks payable to WKU College Heights Foundation and put Jesse Keeling Scholarship on the "For" line. You will receive a receipt from the College Heights Foundation).

On this Wednesday the school psychology students will provide a presentation on school psychology from 4:30 to 5:00 in GRH auditorium. This presentation will provide an overview of the school psychology profession, training and educational requirements, employability and careers in school psychology.  Attendance slips will be provided to those who attend for any faculty that would consider using this presentation as an extra credit activity.
