students at the WKU Strings Camp

String Explosion is an afternoon camp for Bowling Green area violin, viola, cello and double bass students in 4th through 9th grade! The camp will be held in the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center, on the campus of Western Kentucky University.

The camp will be geared with the emphasis on learning in an orchestra setting. Students will be divided into orchestras based on their level. They will gain skills and improve their playing through a variety of activities including string orchestra, sectionals, group classes, and outdoor games. The final performance will be in the Recital Hall at the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center.

The cost of the camp includes a camp t-shirt, daily snacks, music, and instructor fees.
