Costume Production and Technology
January 2-20, 2012, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center on WKU Campus
Take a 3-week noncredit class this winter and receive a hands-on introduction to construction techniques for complete stage costumes, with emphasis upon historical costumes for the theatre.
Participants will learn about clothing construction, patterning, fabrics, and the workings of a professional costume shop.
No textbook or prior sewing experience is required. (Individuals with advanced-beginner through intermediate level sewing ability will also have plenty to learn.)
Course supply list will be distributed the first night of class. (Typically less than $50 in supplies, depending on what you may already have.)
