Interviewing

If you need help with preparing for employment interviewing, the staff and counselors of the Career Services Center can provide you with resources and assistance to increase your interviewing skills. Videotapes and books are available in the Center, and counselors will be happy to meet with students and alumni to provide suggestions regarding how to dress, how to act, or how to respond to typical or difficult interview questions. Additionally, counselors can set up appointments to conduct mock interviews with individuals where they videotape the process and provide feedback at the end.

If you want to get started interviewing with employers, check out the on-campus interview schedule in TopJobs and make plans to attend the upcoming career/job fairs. To meet individually with a counselor, call 270.745.3095, e-mail us at Career.Services@wku.edu , or come by DUC A-230.
