Career Computer Lab
A computer lab within The Center for Career and Professional Development provides students a means of identifying careers of interest, preparing resumes and cover letters, practicing interview skills, researching job openings and employers, locating potential employers, accessing online job databases and other resources available via the Internet. The Lab is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday in DSU 2001.
The Center for Career and Professional Development's Career Library is a collection of job search and career related resources assembled to help students, alumni, faculty and employers alike in quickly answering questions concerning the job search, career exploration, industry information and other related material.
The Career Library serves several purposes. It is a resource for students and alumni looking for literature and multimedia on subjects such as resume help, interviewing, etiquette and so on. The Career Library houses several nationally recognized journals and periodicals providing up to date career information from leaders in their respected fields.
The Career Library is open to all Western students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. It is located in Downing Student Union (DSU) 2001. Library Hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Most library resources are references and may only be utilized within The Center for Career and Professional Development.
