Invitation to Become a “Green Partner”
A third edition 2010 Green Living Directory is being prepared for south central Kentucky. Its purpose is to recognize "green" businesses in our communities for the benefit of consumers, as well as to encourage their growth of and to help them flourish.
Every dollar spent is a vote. This Directory is designed to help people “vote” more in line with their beliefs. Consumers today are seeking out businesses that go beyond the profit-driven motive to also being values-driven and seeking to practice community sustainability and stewardship. Green businesses help make our communities safer and more equitable, healthy and prosperous for the future. This includes protecting natural and historic resources to preserve our unique quality of life.
We invite you to be a "Green Partner" for the 2010 edition of the Green Living Directory. Green Partners contribute $30 toward the printing of the directory and are then highlighted in a green box for special recognition in the Directory; they are also featured on the BGGreen Partnership for a Sustainable Community website and in other publications for added visibility to the community.
There is no charge for a basic listing in the Directory. A small committee reviews all application to make sure the goals and practices of the business are consistent with the intent of the directory.
To submit information for your business to be listed click here. To be listed as a Green Partner, you must also send $30 made out to BGGreen PSC and mail it to PO Box 131, Bowling Green, KY 42102-0131; please mark ‘Green Partner 2010’ on the check. Someone will contact you if there are any questions concerning the application for listing.
