Beautification – Landscape Right of Way Adoption

Individuals, groups, associations, or institutions may request an increase in beautification of a right-of-way beyond standard by adopting an area to temporarily perform additional flower planting. Download a form and submit with landscape plan to the Operations Division of the Public Works Department.

Request a special-event permit application at least 45 days prior to the event. Signatures must be obtained from homeowners whose property is affected by the proposed closure for first-time events. Once approved, a special-event permit will be issued.

The HRC dedicates itself to opening doors of opportunity, eliminating discrimination in housing and employment, and promoting positive human relations within the community. KHLCF provides funding to preserve and conserve natural areas that possess unique features such as for habitat protections, outdoor recreation and education.  Revenue for the fund comes from\ the Nature License Plate and environmental fines.
