The Montessori School of Bowling Green strives to provide children an opportunity for outstanding Montessori education in a safe, nurturing environment. We service children 2 ½ to 6 years of age offering preschool/Kindergarten programs. We promote a strong responsibility toward peaceful humanity by encouraging respect for world diversity and care of our planet, earth!  Being “green” is a huge part of our daily curriculum, and the children here at MSBG understand recycling and proudly place their recyclable items (mostly from lunch) in designated recycle bins located outside of our classroom in the kitchen.  We compost food wastes and use as many environmentally safe products as possible; use low lighting and adjust the thermostat for hours we are not in operation; use real forks, knives, spoons, plates, and glasses to avoid waste. We also try to use household materials for our projects instead of purchasing items and to support other local small businesses in the community when possible.
